It’s been raining and cold all day — sometimes the rain was pretty heavy. My legs were sore from yesterday’s run, so I decided to take today off. I didn’t exercise, I didn’t go for a walk, I didn’t go outside at all, not even for a drive around the neighborhood. I slept in a little, read over a hundred pages in my book and took care of my inside plants. I did some typical Sunday chores, but didn’t stress myself out. And I didn’t clean a single door knob!
My husband’s been in our basement for most of the day working on a home improvement project, so I’ve enjoyed some much needed time alone. Please don’t tell him I said that…
Earlier he went to the Big Y supermarket to do our weekly grocery shopping, to Home Depot and Lowe’s for items for his home improvement project, to Shaw’s for more groceries and the liquor store because he is now hoarding wine. I just can’t win this battle folks.
Two weeks of self quarantining are almost complete! Here’s to hoping the next week is just as uneventful. Happy Sunday!
